Zahra Sharifi

Zahra Sharifi, originally from Ahvaz, Khuzestan, located in southern Iran, carries a rich multicultural background. Although Afghan by heritage, Zahra spent her early years in Ahvaz before relocating to Australia at 13. Her journey in Australia began in Shepparton, Victoria, where she immersed herself in learning English at the English Language Centre and completed her high school education. In early 2019, Zahra's family moved to Melbourne to support her as she embarked on her tertiary education journey at RMIT University.

Zahra graduated from RMIT University with a Bachelor's degree in International Business. She strategically balanced her studies by switching from full-time to part-time to gain valuable work experience. This keen approach enriched her academic knowledge and honed her practical skills in the workforce. Her professional portfolio includes diverse roles that have shaped her robust skill set. She undertook several short-term work experiences in private retail stores, restaurants, and cafes. Her substantial roles at Smiggles and Taco Bell, where she worked for over 12 months simultaneously, are a testament to her dedication and multitasking abilities. Additionally, her tenure at Birubi Foods Pty Ltd as a food packing factory employee further solidified her work ethic while she completed her agent representative's course.

Zahra's career trajectory has equipped her with exceptional communication, teamwork, goal orientation, and customer service skills. Additionally, she excels in planning and coordination, customer relationship development, organizing, negotiations, and multi-tasking.

Family and tradition hold a special place in Zahra's life. She resides with her parents and brother in southeast Melbourne, adhering to the cultural tradition of living with family until marriage. Her beloved brown tabby cat, Benny, adds joy to her home life. Zahra's sister remains in Shepparton following her marriage. 

Fluent in English, Dari (her mother tongue), and Persian, Zahra's linguistic capabilities further enhance her ability to connect with a broad clientele. In her leisure time, Zahra enjoys playing music, spending quality time with her family and Benny, and engaging in retail therapy. She cherishes exploring natural places, such as beaches and waterfalls and is avidly interested in learning new languages.
